THE ACTOR:
The protagonist of my music video is a young male struggling with loneliness, anxiety, and emotional pain. At the start, his slow movements, lowered gaze, and dark surroundings reflect his hopelessness. His simple, dark outfit enhances the moody atmosphere. As the video progresses, subtle changes in lighting, body language, and expressions show his journey toward hope and resilience. By the end, he appears slightly stronger, symbolizing the message of holding on despite hardships.

SCREEN PLAY:
We spent time brainstorming different concepts, exploring various themes before deciding on an emotional and introspective narrative. I immediately had a vision for the project, I wanted a story that didn’t rely too much on acting but conveyed deep emotions through visuals. This allowed us to focus on composition, lighting, and narrative techniques, ensuring the video looked cinematic and engaging without feeling unpolished.
MOOD BOARD:
I added posters of my favorite movies to the mood board, and I took them from their songs. I edited them using Canva. As you can see in the mood board, the songs I included have excellent lighting and camera movement.

EDITING:
I edited my music video using CapCut. We shot a total of 25 clips, and 22 of them were finalized and used in the film. The first step was to place the clips into the timeline and know when and when not to cut. This seems very simple, but is extremely important in setting the correct pace of your film. For areas where the cuts didn’t feel right, I used black fades to ensure a smooth transition. I didn't do color grading for my music video because, during the shooting, I lowered the lighting, exposure, and brightness to create the desired atmosphere and mood. My music video is a storytelling video, and the lines appearing with the scenes were also written using CapCut.
PERSONAL CONTRIBUTION:
We had already decided our roles beforehand. I was the writer, co-director, editor and the Director of Photography. Our group was just me and Muntaha
But during filming, we decided to add a character as a Actor, so we invited my friend AFFAN in this music video. His acting skills were excellent, so we didn’t need to take many retakes while shooting the music video.
THE DIGI PACK:
Cover
I created the digipak myself, using a scene from my music video as the cover image. I added the title of my music video, "Presence – Just Hold On." The picture features a night time scene, which gives it a dark aesthetic. Because of this, I chose white as the font color to ensure visibility. I edit this in Canva.
Back
I edit the back side of the album, The problem I faced while making this was that, at first, I didn’t understand how to do it. However, after doing some research, I was finally able to create it. I edited it using Canva. Here's the editing step,
I edit the both front and back of digipack in Canva.
CD Design
For the CD Design we use the same picture which was on the cover.
