RESEARCH, PLANNING AND PRE PRODUCTION

RESEARCH, PLANNING AND PRE PRODUCTION  WHY DO AN ELECTRONIC? I chose electronic music because of its energy, depth, and ability to create immersive soundscapes that perfectly fit my project. The way synths, basslines, and effects blend together pushed my creativity in ways no other genre could. With animatics, I could sync sound design, music, and visuals seamlessly, bringing out the emotion and movement in the soundtrack. WHY CHOOSE PRESENCE? I picked 'JUST HOLD ON'  by 'PRESENCE' because the message really hit home for me. It’s all about pushing through tough times and staying strong, which is something a lot of people can relate to, especially when things feel overwhelming. I wanted to capture that feeling of resilience and strength in a way that felt true to the song. The idea of holding on through difficult moments and not giving up just felt like the kind of story I wanted to share, and I thought it would connect with others who have gone through similar struggles...

Through this project, I aim to highlight important social issues, build a strong artistic identity, and connect with my audience in a meaningful way. I'll also share how research shaped my creative decisions, making sure every choice adds depth to the story I’m telling. My music video primarily focuses on making it relatable to audiences who have experienced similar struggles. Like the video emphasizes struggles such as depression, anxiety, which are common in today’s society. Through my Character’s action I showed people how they can overcome these challenges. Many people can relate to the idea of  "not giving up"  even in tough times, which is the main message of the song....

FINAL PROJECT AND DEVELOPMENT

FINAL PROJECT: POSTER: SCRIPT: STORYBOARDING: CHARACTER PROFILES: THE ACTOR: The protagonist of my music video is a young male struggling with loneliness, anxiety, and emotional pain . At the start, his slow movements, lowered gaze, and dark surroundings reflect his hopelessness. His si mple, dark outfit enhances the moody atmosphere. As the video progresses, subtle changes in lighting, body language, and expressions show his journey toward hope and resilience . By the end, he appears slightly stronger, symbolizing the message of holding on despite hardships . CHARACTER MOOD BOARD PLAYED BY: AFFAN SCREEN PLAY: We spent time brainstorming different concepts, exploring various themes before deciding on an emotional and introspective narrative. I immediately had a vision for the project, I wanted a story that didn’t rely too much on acting but conveyed deep emotions through visuals. This allowed us to focus on composition, lighting, and narrative techniques, ensuring the video loo...
